Become a Science Teacher
Many of today’s graduates will pursue a goal of becoming a science teacher. This field is one of the more potentially lucrative ones within the area of education and teaching. Science is emphasized greatly in our society and is known to be a priority of the government, thus there is there more funding for science teachers as opposed to music. If you wish to become a science teacher, the first step is to have a strong science background. A high school diploma followed by a degree in a science related field is a must.
For many of the more competitive science teacher jobs, one must have extensive education in science. Many high school science teachers even have masters degrees or some form of advanced post-graduate coursework. If you wish to teach at a community college or higher, a doctorate will serve you well. For elementary and middle schools, one can become a science teacher with only a four year degree and in some cases, state accreditation.
